Apr 26, 2024 (newstodate): After four years' absence, the Latvian carrier is returning services on its only domestic route.
Flights connecting Riga and Liepaja, the country's third-largest city, will be operated from July 11 to 22 and between August 1 and 5, 2024, with two weekly rotations using Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
airBaltic first introduced flights between Riga and Liepaja in September 2005, suspended from October 18, 2008, while later reopened again several times for shorter periods - and since the outbreak of the Covid-19, the route has been off the carrier's schedule.
