Apr 17, 2024 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is stepping up at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport in the next winter 2024/25 schedule.
So far, one new destination has been revealed to be launched at Vilnius Airport connecting to Norway's Oslo Torp Airport with two weekly rotations.
In 2020, airBaltic stopped operating flights from Vilnius to Oslo Airport, leaving Oslo Airport served only from Riga and Tallinn.
In addition, airBaltic is to increase frequencies on a number of routes served at Vilnius Airport, including the flights to Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Munich and Tenerife, as well as to Tallinn.
This summer, airBaltic is adding four new routes from Lithuania – three from Vilnius to Krakow, Hamburg, and Lisbon, and one from Palanga to Amsterdam.
In 2024, the airline will thus connect Lithuania with 18 destinations, allocating two Airbus A220-300 aircraft to the base at Vilnius Airport.
