Apr 15, 2024 (newstodate): The Slovak charter and ACMI carrier AirExplore has a new man at the head of its cargo business: Sveinn Zoega.
   Starting from this month, Mr Zoega is Air Explore Commercial Director Cargo, bringing in rich experience since 1991 in the aviation business starting with three years with Icelandair followed a/o by 12 years with Air Atlanta Icelandic and entering Air Explore from the position with Bluebird Nordic Commercial Director from October 2017.
   The latest change is within the house, though, as both Bluebird Nordic and AirExplore are members of Lithuania's Aviation Solutions Group.
   ASG thus acquired Air Explore in June 2023, while Bluebird Nordic has been a member of ASG since January 2020.
   In the fleet of AirExplore are today three Boeing 737-800BCF freighters as well as nine Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft.
