Apr 22, 2024 (newstodate): Icelandair is adding two new destinations in the USA from this summer.
Starting from May 6, 2024, the carrier will add Pittsburgh to its route map, offering four weekly rotations till the end of October, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
And from May 31, 2024, Icelandair will also resume services from Keflavik to Halifax Stanfield International Airport with three weekly rotations.
With these new routes, Icelandair will be operating flights from Iceland to 12 US airports alongside Pittsburgh, Boston, New York JFK, Raleigh-Durham, Baltimore, Seattle, New York Newark, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis and Orlando.
