Apr 12, 2024 (newstodate): The Lithuanian MRO provider Nordic Aircraft Systems has added new capabilities through a US acquisition.
   Nordic Aircraft Systems has thus announced the acquisition of Team Aerospace, Inc., a US-based FAA/EASA repair station in Tennessee providing structural and composite repairs of aircraft components.
   With this acquisition, Nordic Aircraft Systems expands its service portfolio to include a wide range of components including composite structures, flight controls, and airframe and engine accessories.
   Established in Vilnius in 2012, the company has so far had its focus on emergency, oxygen, galley and electrical equipment and accessories, while the new acquisition significantly expands the company’s global growth strategy and diversifies its portfolio and customer mix.
