Apr 24, 2024 (newstodate): Lufthansa Cargo has now decided to add Riga Airport as a new destination on its European short haul freighter network.
   Starting from May 4, 2024, Lufthansa Cargo will be operating a weekly call at Riga Airport by its Airbus A321F freighter, aiming at Latvian exports of computer part and pharmaceuticals as well as other commodities lifted from Riga to Frankfurt for onward carriage on Lufthansa Cargo's network.
   This will however not be first call at Riga Airport by Lufthansa Cargo's Airbus A321F; already in July 2023 the Airbus A321F was operating on the route Frankfurt-Liege-Riga-Copenhagen-Frankfurt as part of a test series of flights.
