Apr 19, 2024 (newstodate): The Lithuanian aircraft design and manufacturing company J&C Aero has landed a new customer for line maintenance support.
   J&C Aero has thus been contracted by PLAY Airlines to support its coming new operations at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport with technical maintenance support.
   Starting from May 25, 2024, the carrier will be operating a weekly rotation between Keflavik and Vilnius using Airbus A320 aircraft.
   Landside, PLAY Airlines has actually been present in Lithuania since December 2021 with an office in Vilnius to host various support and technical functions.
   In 2023, J&C Aero also won the contract with the Lithuanian carrier Heston Airlines to provide CAMO support.
   Under the three-year contract, J&C Aero will provide Heston Airlines with line maintenance, aircraft delivery and cabin refurbishment services at its facilities at Siauliai Airport.
