May 23, 2024 (newstodate): In the latest CASS statistics on Norway's air cargo forwarders, out this week, six of the top-10 companies moved over 1,000 tonnes in April 2024.
In total, the country's forwarders generated 13,818 tonnes of cargo - down 9.47 percent, y-o-y.
#1 on the list is Air Cargo Logistics with 3,759 tonnes and up 15.23 percent, y-o-y.
#2 is Salmosped with 2,499 tonnes, up 5.76 percent; #3 Blue Water Shipping with 1,567 tonnes and rising steeply by 132.68 percent; #4 Air Trade Support with 1,442 tonnes but down 58.63 percent; #5 DHL Global Forwarding with 1,224 tonnes and up 118.88 percent; #6 DSV Air & Sea with 1,025 tonnes but down 51.03 percent; #7 Schenker with 416 tonnes and down 60.57 percent; #8 Agile Logistics with 327 tonnes and up 6.75 percent; #9 M3Cargo with 279 tonnes but down
31.37 percent - and finally #10 Rhenus Logistics Norway with 244 tonnes and up 52.25 percent, y-o-y.
While this latest CASS statistics mainly comprises "the usual suspects", one newcomer is Blue Water Shipping that makes its debut among the Top-10 companies at the #3 position in April 2024.
While the forwarders thus saw the total volumes down by 9.47 percent in April 2024, Norway's flown seafood volumes lifted by air from Oslo Airport remained on steady growth trajectory in 2024; as the fourth consecutive month with positive growth in 2024, April saw flown int'l volumes at Oslo Airport up by 25 percent, y-o-y, to a total of 14,290 tonnes,
