May 21, 2024 (newstodate): Finnair is now ready to return services on the route connecting Helsinki and Nagoya, Japan.
The flights will commence from May 30, 2024, with two weekly rotations with Airbus A350 aircraft.
The route was first opened from June 2006, with Nagoya as Finnair's third destination in Japan.
Prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, Finnair's program for flights to Japan comprised Tokyo Narita, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, but in summer 2022 Finnair was forced to suspend all services to Japan due to the Covid-19.
In summer 2024, flights to Japan will grow with services to Osaka Kansai International Airport to up from three to five weekly rotations; flights to Tokyo Narita International Airport will increase from four to six weekly rotations in addition to the currently daily service to Tokyo Haneda International Airport - and now flights to Nagoya are also returning...
