May 21, 2024 (newstodate): "Would you like to have my job?", asks Pasi Nopanen, Finnair Cargo Sales Director Asia, on LinkedIn.
   Mr Nopanen has decided to leave Finnair after his latest round of service with the company since March 9, 2020, based in Hong Kong and responsible for the cargo sales in the entire Asian region.
   Pasi Nopanen's career started with 12 years with Finnair 1989-2001, later returning to Finnair for another term 2014-15 as Finnair VP Global Sales Cargo.
   Besides these periods with Finnair, Mr Nopanen has held exec positions with other carriers including Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, while also playing a key role in establishing and managing the ASR Cargo terminal at Helsinki Airport.
   -And yes, I have decided to move on and build my career further. Unfortunately, this will happen outside of Finnair Group. At this stage I cannot reveal yet where I will be going - but it will be within air cargo as I live, love and breathe this fantastic industry that makes the world go round, writes Mr Nopanen.
