May 28, 2024 (newstodate): The Kazakh cargo carrier Alpha Sky will soon launch flights between Kazakhstan and China.
The carrier has inked a MoU with QazPost, Kazakhstan's national postal operator, to provide uplift capacity imports of Chinese e-trade commodities to Kazakhstan.
The carrier will thus be operating flights connecting its base airport at Turkestan to Hong Kong, and plans also include the construction of a new joint distribution center for processing international postal shipments also at Turkestan.
Set up in 2023, Alpha Sky today operates a fleet of two Boeing 737-400F aircraft, the second of which has been delivered only earlier this month.
