May 02, 2024 (newstodate): The Dutch regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has again been shopping in the inventory of the Danish/Irish regional aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital.
   In a deal now published, TrueNoord has bought seven E190 and one Dash 8-400 from NAC, increasing TrueNoord’s fleet of regional turboprop and jet aircraft to 95 units.
   Earlier deals between the two regional aircraft lessors include a batch of eight Embraer E190 and two E175 aircraft, signed in January 2023.
   Next in December 2023, TrueNoord completed the acquisition of no less than 11 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital.
   The purchase comprised four Dash 8-400, three E175 and four E190 aircraft, with the integration of all 11 aircraft completed during Q1/2024.
    In 2023, NAC completed the sale of 60 aircraft, a mix of E1, Q400 and ATR aircraft, primarily sold to other lessors with some direct sales to lessees.
   -A top priority at NAC is to sell out-of-production Q400s and E1s and instead focus on best-in-class, more fuel-efficient regional aircraft like the ATR 72 and A220 families, plus expand into the much larger adjacent market of the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 families, the company said in the 2023 report.
