May 31, 2024 (newstodate): The Romanian carrier Animawings is preparing for launching flights to Sweden from this autumn.
Starting from October 1, 2024, the carrier will be offering three weekly rotations on a route between Bucharest and Stockholm with Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Earlier this year, Animawings became a fully Romanian carrier after the acquisition of the formerly Aegean Airlines subsidiary by the Romanian tour operator Christian Tour.
The company that received its AOC in July 2020 plans to take delivery of 12 Airbus A220-300 aircraft over the coming three-years period, with the first two entering the fleet this summer, joining the existing fleet of two Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
