May 22, 2024 (newstodate): Provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, Baltic Ground Services has succeeded in expanding its contract with the Czech carrier Smartwings in the Baltic region.
   The two parties have thus renewed the contract for BGS to supply Smartwings with aviation fuel at the airports in Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn.
   Smartwings has been a customer with BGS since 2014, initially comprising fueling at Vilnius and Riga, later expanding the cooperation to include also fueling of Smartwings at Tallinn Airport from 2023 for a one-year period taking effect from April 1, 2023.
