May 31, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group has presented Q1/2024 results showing sustained growth and development on all accounts.
   The growth was primarily driven by a significant increase in passenger flight volumes, seeing the group’s revenue from passenger aircraft ACMI services growing 2.3-fold.
   In Q1, 2024, ASG also acquired an additional 13 aircraft, bringing the total fleet size to 213, solidifying its position as the world’s largest ACMI provider.
   Also in summer 2024, 100 percent of the aircraft capacity is already leased to major airlines, including Lufthansa Group, Turkish Airlines, Wizz Air, TUI, IndiGo, among numerous others.
   Early in Q1 2024, the group acquired the Australian airline Skytrans Airlines, and is planning to establish ACMI airlines in Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia later this year.
   Expansion in the Asian markets provides ASG with leverage to counterbalance the reduced seasonal demand in Europe by shifting aircraft between counter-seasonal regions.
