May 02, 2024 (newstodate): Cargo volumes through Estonia's Tallinn Airport are seeing a modest but positive growth in the first four months of this year.
In January-April 2024, the airport has thus been handling 2,843 tones of cargo, which is 1.7 percent up on 2023.
Both January and April came out in the black, with y-o-y growth by 7.9 and 13.7 percent, respectively, while the two other months saw volumes down .
Imports dominate with 53.7 percent of the total volumes, while 93.8 percent comprises shipments within the Schengen area.
