Jun 03, 2024 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has returned seasonal flight services at its second destination in Lithuania: Palanga Airport, near the Baltic coast.
Starting from May 29 and until October 23, 2024, airBaltic will offer two weekly rotations on the route connecting Palanga and Amsterdam where passengers can continue flights on the network of its airline code-share partner KLM.
airBaltic made its debut at Palanga Airport with the first flight connecting to Riga Airport on April 1, 2009, offering eight weekly rotations with Fokker 50 aircraft and increase with two more rotations i 2009.
The Riga-Palanga route was served until 2019 and remained suspended during the Covid-19 period, to be reopened only this year.
