Jun 12, 2024 (newstodate): The Estonian cargo airline AVEM AERO has again added new capacity to its freighter fleet.
Starting from June 12, 2024, the carrier is now operating one AN-12 cargo aircraft allowing the company to penetrate new markets, including the military sector and humanitarian aid operations, based on the aircraft's payload capacity of up to 18 tonnes and a range of 3,600 km.
In 2023, AVEM Aero also added one ATR72-500F joining the fleet already comprising two SAAB 340 as well as one AN-26 leased in spring 2022 from the Ukrainian company Constanta, but currently not in service with the carrier.
