Jun 17, 2024 (newstodate): The Estonian cargo carrier Airest has added its first ATR aircraft to its fleet.
The latest addition is one ATR 72-500F, acquired on a lease contract with Jetstream Aviation Capital in cooperation with Petrus Aviation, a provider of financing investments in aircraft and engine leasing.
Starting from today, the new aircraft will be deployed to serve one of Airest's core clients in Germany.
After taking leave of one Bombardier CRJ200SF and one Airbus A320 aircraft by the end of 2020, Airest has been operating an all-SAAB fleet including five SAAB 340 aircraft, most of which in cargo configuration.
-The ATR 72-500F represents a significant enhancement to Airest's cargo operations, providing increased capacity, improved efficiency, and
greater flexibility to meet customers' diverse needs, Airest says in a release.
Based at Tallinn Airport, Airest is managed by Aleksei Lupitski as CEO
