Jun 04, 2024 (newstodate): With the first flight on May 31, 2024, Icelandair is back on the route from Keflavik to Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
   Flights are provided three times weekly with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, and Icelandair is thus operating flights from Iceland to 12 US airports including Pittsburgh, Boston, New York JFK, Raleigh-Durham, Baltimore, Seattle, New York Newark, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, Halifax and Orlando.  
   Icelandair last served the route to Halifax from 2006 till 2018.
