Jun 26, 23024 (newstodate): How many commercial aircraft are in the fleets of Russia's airlines today?
   Now, this has become classified information, as the Federal Air Transport Agency has stopped publishing data on the number of aircraft in the fleets of Russian airlines.
   Until now, this information was available on the department’s website in the airline registry, detailing the aircraft types and numbers of each airline were listed.
   Instead, the Agency now lists only the type of aircraft on each airline's AOC.
   Before this recent change, the last register with the number of aircraft was published on October 20, 2023, comprising the AOCs of 116 Russian airlines certified to perform commercial air transportation with a total of 2,228 aircraft and helicopters.
