Jun 25, 2024 (newstodate): Russia'øs largest privately-owned airline S7 Sibir Airlines expects to transport some 20 percent less passengers in 2024 compared to last year.
According to the carrier the development of the domestic route network from Novosibirsk has been practically exhausted.
The airline's second important hub is Moscow Domodedovo Airport, but early this year the airline announced a staff reduction in the Moscow region due to a cut in the flight program from the capital.
In S7's fleet are 63 Airbus A320/A321, 19 Boeing 737, and 17 Embraer aircraft, half of which are now in the airline's possession after having been bought out from the Western leasing companies.
