Jun 05, 2024 (newstodate): As SAS leaves the Star Alliance to join instead SkyTeam from September 1. 2024, potentials for new partnerships and alliances will emerge.
   One new commercial partnership will be forged between SAS and Virgin Atlantic after September, providing Virgin Atlantic with enhanced access to and from Scandinavia's key hubs.
   The routes comprised by the new alliance are still to be finalized, according to Virgin Atlantic.
