Jul 31, 2024 (newstodate): Starting from June 5, 2024, American Airlines is online at Copenhagen Airport with a program running till the end of October 2024.
   The carrier is offering a daily rotation between Philadelphia and Copenhagen, initially using Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the route but later downsizing to Boeing 787-8 capacity offering 50 seats less.
   On the positive side, American Airlines has now opened for bookings in summer 2025, indicating at least potentials for a return of services during next year's summer schedule.
   At Copenhagen Airport, the airline is handled by Menzies providing passenger and ramp handling, while cargo handling is operated by WFS.
   Serving American Airlines as GSSA in the four Nordic markets since March 1, 2011, is North Air Logistics.
