Jul 02, 2024 (newstodate): Cargo figures in June 2024 from Denmark's Billund Airport demonstrate a sustained growth in volumes.
In June, the airport thus handled a total of 8,138 tonnes of cargo which was again up 24.3 percent, y-o-y.
Volume-vise, exports still dominate with 5,392 tonnes, increasing 6.8 percent y-o-y, but imports are moving in the fast lane as well with a growth by 83.1 percent to 2,746 tonnes.
In the first half of this year, the airport has handled 44,933 tonnes, increasing 25.8 percent, y-o-y, with exports up 13.7 percent to 30,960 tonnes, while imports were up by 64.6 percent to 13,973 tonnes.
