Jul 29, 2024 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport reports an increase in total cargo volumes by 14.1 percent, y-o-y, in this year's first half.
   A total of 156,222 tonnes of cargo by legacy and integrator carriers was handled during Jan-Jun '24, including 111,477 tonnes on legacy carriers and 44,746 tonnes on integrators FedEx and DHL.
   Legacy carriers thus saw their total volumes at Copenhagen Airport up by 20.4 percent, while integrator volumes remained unchanged against H1/2023.
   The latest figures also prove that Copenhagen Airport is fast recovering in handling of transit cargo, now accruing to 67.8 percent of the total volumes in H1/24; in full-year 2016 the figure was almost 70 percent, down to 64.4 percent in 2017 - and only 54.5 percent in 2019, signaling the further downturn during the traffic disruptions during the Covid pandemic.
