Jul 05, 2024 (newstodate): In H1/2024, Finnair Cargo noted an increase in cargo volumes by 10.7 percent, y-o-y.
   A total of 71,878 tonnes of cargo was carried by the company, with volumes on the Asian lanes accounting for 38,325 tonnes and up 9.1 percent during the period.
   For June 2024 alone, positive growth was noted in all segments, excluding domestic cargo that weighs little in the total picture.
   Loads on the Asian lanes were up by only 0.5 percent, y-o-y, to 6,542 tonnes, while the North Atlantic performed well with an increase by 24.2 percent, y-o-y, to 1,568 tonnes.
   Loads on the M East traffic in cooperation with Qatar Airways increased 14.5 percent to 2,047 tonnes, while the European traffic was also up by 9.9 percent to 2,717 tonnes.
