Jul 04, 2024 (newstodate): Rhenus Logistics Norway has named Trond Orjan Olsen its new Managing Director.
   Mr Olsen took over the position from June 1, 2024, serving with Rhenus Logistics already from August 2022 as Regional Director Fresh North-West Region.
   Mr Olsen's career in the logistics business started with over 10 years with DB Schenker from December 1998 and also comprises a/o close to seven years from March 2015 with DHL Global Forwarding Norway as Head of Airfreight.
    The German Rhenus Group opened business in the Danish market with two offices in June 2022 after operating in Sweden through integration with the Swedish company Swedlink from February 2021.
   In February 2022, Rhenus added the Norwegian market with the opening of Rhenus Logistics Norway AS in Oslo, and the Norwegian company is now a small, but steeply growing provider in the Norwegian seafood logistics industry.
