Jul 29, 2024 (newstodate): The privately-owned Ukrainian postal company Nova Poshta is assessing potentials for opening services between Ukraine and the Nordic and Baltic markets.
-Nova Poshta is actually planning to expand into the European market, says Olena Seliutina, Head of Nova Poshta External communications department.
-However, the exact opening dates for Denmark have not been determined yet. Additionally, we are also exploring opportunities to enter other Nordic markets as well.
In 2023, Nova Post established its own cargo carrier Supernova that obtained its AOC on January 6, 2023, as the first Ukrainian carrier in wartime.
Earlier this month, a delegation from Nova Poshta headed by Viacheslav Klymov, its main shareholder, visited Lithuania's Siauliai Airport to check on their new Boeing 737-800 freighter aircraft currently at the airport for pre-delivery maintenance, and the airport's management took the opportunity to present the airport's facilities and potentials as a future hub.
The aircraft has been converted into freighter at the Chinese Yichang-Sanxia Airport by order of the British leasing company World Star Aviation.
