Aug 20, 2024 (newstodate): The Bulgarian passenger charter and ACMI operator based in Sofia, Fly2Sky, will continue its cooperation with airBaltic.
Starting in April 2023, Fly2Sky Airlines landed an ACMI contract with airBaltic, and this cooperation has now been refreshed from August 15, 2024, till September 2024, with one Airbus A320 based in Riga to serve flights on routes across the European Union.
This month, the carrier has taken delivery of one more Airbus A320 aircraft, bringing the fleet to a total of six Airbus A320 and two A321 aircraft.
Already now, the airline is preparing for adding a ninth Airbus A320 aircraft, slated for arrival in September 2024.
Since its launch of services in 2017, Fly2Sky has been operating on ACMI basis with a number of airlines including Transavia, airBaltic, TAP Air Portugal, AirArabia, Icelandair, Air Serbia, SkyUp Airlines, HumoAir, United Nigeria Airlines, AirAlgerie and World Atlantic Airways.
