Aug 12, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group is determined to expand its global presence, notably through its strategy for the Asia-Pacific Region.
   The Group's subsidiary BBN Indonesia has now obtained the Foreign Air Transport Air Operators Certificate, FATAOC from Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority, allowing BBN Airlines Indonesia to start operations in Australia.
   The new FATAOC follows only shortly after BBN Indonesia was also granted a FATAOC by the Philippine authorities, opening up for commencing operations in the Philippine market.
   Earlier this year, ASG also announced the acquisition of the Australian airline Skytrans.      
   Expansion in the region provides ASG with leverage to counterbalance the reduced seasonal demand in Europe by shifting aircraft between counter-seasonal regions.
