Aug 22, 2024 (newstodate): Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group is reporting a sound economic performance in H1, 2024, generating 1.2bn euros in revenue.
   In January-June 2024, European customers accounted for 55.1 percent of revenues, while Asia accounted for 27.9 percent. The Americas, Africa, Australia and Pacific Islands represented 11.8, 2.7, and 1.2, of revenues, respectively.
   By comparison, in 2023 ASG generated 67 percent of its revenues in Europe, 20 percent in Asia, and six percent in North and South America.
   The H1/2024 results provide a firm basis for Avia Solutions Group's ongoing plans to further expand its global presence and ability to offer capacity solutions, particularly during peak seasons.  
   The Group is thus planning to obtain further air operator certificates in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Brazil in the near future.
   As part of this strategy, the Group completed the acquisition of Australian based Skytrans in the first half of 2024, bringing the Group's total number of AOCs to 11.
   The group now operates in 68 countries around the world and consists of over 100 companies with a team of 12,000 aviation professionals.
