Aug 20, 2024 (newstodate): Copenhagen Airport saw its total cargo volumes up by 19.2 percent to 182,785 tonnes during Jan-Jul 2024.
   Legacy carriers alone accounted for 130,744 tonnes, which was a steep increase by 28 percent, y-o-y.
   The growth was provided by a hike to 37.4 percent, y-o-y, in belly cargo that now accounts for 54 percent of the airport's total cargo volumes carried by legacy carriers.
   Trucked cargo also developed positively, up 20.8 percent to 55,173 tonnes, while legacy freighters are playing a minor, even dwindling role with only 1,065 tonnes in Jan-Jul '24, down by 5.5 percent, y-o-y.
