Aug 08, 2024 (newstodate): As the "strategic cooperation" with Finnair changes from January 2025, Qatar Airways is to take over all flights from Copenhagen and Stockholm to Doha.
   Qatar Airways is thus to operate 18 weekly rotations on the routes Doha-Copenhagen and Doha-Stockholm, as Finnair's last operating day from Copenhagen and Stockholm will be January 14, and from Doha January 15, 2025.
   -Qatar Airways will be adding new frequencies on its routes between Copenhagen, Stockholm and Doha from mid-January, following a transformation of the commercial collaboration with our oneworld partner Finnair.
   -Finnair will keep its presence on the CPH/ARN-DOH routes by codeshare on all of Qatar Airways’ flights, says a Qatar Airways spokesperson on newdotate's inquiry.
   The changes after January 2025 will have no effect on cargo as Qatar Airways has retained the full responsibility for sales on both its own 11 and Finnair's seven weekly flights from Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki under the "strategic cooperation".  
   However, cargo volumes on the flights served by Finnair have been recorded on Finnair's monthly statistics, and the coming changes will thus see the carrier's cargo total volumes down by up to some 16 percent, based on today's figures.
