Aug 09, 2024 (newstodate): The Lithuanian charter and ACMI airline, Heston Airlines, has secured a new customer: Azerbaijan Airlines.
   Heston has thus announced a long-term wet-lease contract with Azerbaijan Airlines comprising three Airbus A320 aircraft to operate from Baku Airport on routes to Dubai, Paris, Milan, Istanbul, Izmir, and more to come.
   To serve the requirements of Azerbaijan Airlines, Heston Airlines will reconfigure its Airbus A320 aircraft to comprise also a business class with spacious seating.
   In the fleet of Heston Airlines are now 11 Airbus A320 aircraft as well as one Airbus A319, currently parked - but plans are to add more Airbus A320 as well as new Airbus A319 aircraft.
