Aug 06, 2024 (newstodate): A new operator of the Airbus A220-300 aircraft will make its debut at the airports of Copenhagen and Stockholm in September 2024: Croatia Airlines.
The carrier has now taken delivery of its first of fifteen Airbus A220 aircraft that will enter commercial services as from today at Zagreb Airport.
Among the first destinations to see Croatia Airlines' new Airbus aircraft from Zagreb Airport will be Copenhagen Airport with the first flight on September 4, 2024, followed by Stockholm Airport from September 16, 2024.
The aircraft will make five calls at Copenhagen and Stockholm in September, according to the latest schedule update.
Croatia Airlines will take delivery of its second A220 by late November or early December, while the fleet will gradually grow to a total of 13 Airbus A220-300 and two A220-100 aircraft.
The Airbus A220-300 is already well-known in service with airBaltic that is now operating a fleet comprising 48 units and set to grow to 50 by the end of 2024.
