Sep 04, 2024 (newstodate): Member of Lithuania's Avia Solutions Group, Magma Aviation has inked a new contract with WFS at Liege Airport.
   Under the contract and starting this month already, WFS will provide ramp and warehouse cargo handling for a minimum of five regular Boeing 747-400F flight rotations a week.
   WFS will also handle cargo onboard charter flights operated by Magma Aviation’s freighter fleet.  
   Overall, the contract will see WFS handling more than 50,000 tonnes of cargo a year for Magma Aviation and its customers.
   At Liege Airport, WFS supports cargo operations across two warehouses totaling 24,000 m2 warehouse space.
   Founded in 2009, Magma Aviation was acquired by Chapman Freeborn as major shareholder in 2017 - and ASG won control of Magma Aviation through its acquisition of Chapman Freeborn in 2019.
